RIP THE RABIES

Okay kiddies, we have some big Rabies news...after about 10 years of scaring the bejesus out of the normal folk, we've decided that the time has come for us to throw in the towel and to retire to our crypts. It's been one hell of a ride and we've enjoyed every minute of it! We've accomplished more than we ever imagined, shared the stage with some amazing bands, and met some incredible people along the way.

We want to send out a huge THANK YOU to all of you rabid fans out there and also to everyone who's helped us throughout the years. We truly are eternally grateful for all of you.

With that said, there's only two more chances to catch our live show, both are (fittingly) in October. Please check our Upcoming Shows page for more info and don't forget to RSVP on Facebook.

See ya on the dark side kiddies ---Lexi

Despite the recent heartbreaking events, we will continue. We will be playing as a four-piece for now and turning it up to 11 for Edie!

1/29/10

It is with the heaviest of hearts, we are saddened to announce that Will Hall (aka Edie Decay; rhythm guitarist of The Rabies) suddenly passed away from heart failure this week. He joined the band in the Spring of 2009, and though his time playing with us may have been short lived, he offered nothing less than the greatest of enthusiasm, hard work, and most of all, immeasurable talent. He will greatly be missed and will always be remembered not only as a gifted musician, but also as an extraordinary friend. Will lived for music; it was his greatest passion in life and his memory will forever live on in the music he created. RIP Edie Decay 1972-2010
